It DOES some with all the tools you need. When you remove the old battery, take it out and set it down exactly as it came out of your Nook. That way, you get the new one back in right. I went ahead and taped the new battery in before I hooked did the plug and play part so that I didn't have to worry about it being hooked up wrong. After I did that, I just plugged in the new one and snapped the Nook back together. Since I've dropped my Nook several times on it's end, the putting back together part was the hardest!
Don't be afraid of things like this. Working on your computerized products is so much easier than people realize. It took me 10 minutes to get this whole thing done and the Nook plugged in and charging. We work on our own computers, but buying the part and replacing it ourselves. We have for years. That's the great thing about plug and play parts, and batteries.
Always remember...When you get something like this you HAVE to fully charge it before you use it the first time. If you don't, you won't ever get a full charge out of your electronics. This is the reason that any cordless electronic thing you use tells you to make sure it's fully charged before using. All of my husbands battery operated tools are like this, the Swiffer Vacuum, your new cell phone is this way....everything is. If you don't fully charge
it BEFORE using it, it will never charge past the point you started with.
